New Bronco owner

Just bought my first truck, a 1982 Bronco 4x4. I used to be a car guy, so much of this truck 'stuff' is new to me. The Bronco has a 351W, dual exaust, and a few other little tricks under the hood. Other than that, it is pretty much stock.

After getting the Bronco in perfect shape (it is in fair shape now), I plan on adding a 6" suspension lift and 36" Super Swamper TSL/SX's. Are there any other goodies that are a must? The most I want to put into this truck is around $5,000. I plan to drive both on and off-road, no rock climbing but serious mudding.

With 36" tires, I would recommend 4.56 gears for a starter.
You must have the gear ratio lowered so that you can move them rubbers.
Also, you should rerout all of the vent lines to under the hood with a filter so that there is no chance at getting water and crap into the axles, t-case, or tranny.
thats all I can think of right now.
good luck bro.
