Need a column shaft original type for 55 F100....hope someone has an old one from an original gear box. Got a p/s conversion and messed up my original shaft cutting it for conversion. Bumper sticker says...stuff happens...lol got to try again....appreciate any help...

 

How long does it need to be? I've got one I cut off a box. I'll be at Super Nationals in Tenn week after next. If that helps.

 

Thanks, need it quick unless I decide to go another direction. Thinking about spot welding the coupler to my shaft. That would work if the coupler is not cast. Mig weld it and it would be good to go. Would you ship if no other option for me?

 

Sure can! Too bad Axracer isn't on the forum anymore, he'd recommend not welding the coupler but I can't find his post for his justification.

 

I wondered about the pros and cons but got to do something. If you find his post about it I'd love to read it.
