Not the same. I had a different brand on both a 2014 and 2016. It would not go on the 2017. They mount the same way as AMP if I remember correctly. That brand was lower cost for basically the same thing but had not updated last fall when I got my 2017. So I had to buy AMP. So yes, AMP makes a model for the new trucks.
