Scanning for updates...
I turned on WiFi (thought I had previously enabled it, it didn't seem to be connected to my home network) and hit the button to scan for updates. It was doing that for a good 20 minutes. 
I got out and it looks like the system shut down. The engine was never on.
20 minutes seems like an excessive time. For all I know it's still running. Is that normal?

I just went out and checked it. The last updated date/time is now today's date, so it must have finished. I then turned off WiFi. My truck sits in the garage during the week. I'm not sure how often - or even if - it uses the WiFi.
