Had a set of those same wheels on my 2012 F-150 FX4 that was totaled.
Thankfully I didn't have them on when I get hit. Thought they were a nice change from all the black varieties, or chrome. I'm considering getting a set of 20" to fit the F-250, and getting the tires shown, switched over to them. The tire's/wheels only have about 2500 miles on them.
you can remove the caps with your bare hands if you need to. I'm hoping the auto locking hubs work and I don't have to.
Wasn't sure how quickly that can be done. I hope the "auto" works also, but the hub access is something I'm considering in my search for wheels. Thanks for the reply.
Here are some photos of how the tires line up with the wheel well. Front sticks out a small bit but rear remains in line with the wheel well. The second photo is looking straight down from the edge of the fender
Hows it ride with the fox 2.0 vs the factory shocks? I just ordered this kit as well and i'm getting it installed on Monday. What is your opinion as of now?
Hard to gauge the difference between the stock shocks and the fox shocks because I changed the wheels and tires at the same time. I got the kit for the level and figured that if I was already doing the level I may as well replace the stock shocks which have a reputation for premature failure.
It rides similarly but I only have 2,000 miles on the truck so the stock shocks could have been fine (although I was able to easily compress them by hand whereas I could not compress the fox shocks the same way. The stock shocks also took forever to rebound once compressed). The larger tires are noticeable but not in a bad way. I don't think anyone should expect a huge difference even though some people out there are claiming aftermarket shocks make a night and day difference (maybe when compared to failed shock)
