Coolant hose burst
I have a 2007 E450 transit bus, with the 6.0 . I was driving home the other day and noticed it was making a weird noice from the engine only when I accelerated , but went away afterwards. I got home and checked everything out and it all appeared ok. After it had a chance to cool down, it started puking coolant all over the ground. Couldn't tell where but could tell it was near the water pump, also noticed a pin hole leak in the top of the Degas bottle. Drained all the coolant out and discovered a hose by the water pump had actually split and has a gapping hole in it. Over the past couple days I see it origonates from the bottom of the Degas bottle. I know this thing is going to be a PITA to fix but I'm wondering if anyone has any tips for me?? Thanks in advance for your help!
