Looking to buy a new in cab gas tank. Mine is rusted out and not work saving. LMC has one for 199 plus a 20 over sized fee which i never heard of. Is there anywhere else I can get one. 1968 f-250 5.9

Just replaced my 69 tank from Dennis Carpenter. Will cost you more than the LMC, around $250 but flat shipping of $14. I'm not sure if they come from the same source or not. I don't know the LMC product, but in general I've found the feedback to be less positive than Dennis Carpenter.
Another option is to have it cleaned and coated with rust preventative. Find a local radiator shop that would do this. In my case it wasn't going to save me any money to have it cleaned and coated so I just bought replacement. Plus, buying new you can ensure the pickup tube is new and clean, which isn't possible in an old tank unless you remove and replace.
