Hi guys and gals, I’m new here so please excuse me if I end up posting this in the wrong place.
My van 94 E150 A/C equipped has a strange little problem. The heater fan sometimes works perfectly, other times doesn’t work at all and the times it doesn’t work are getting more frequent. All speeds when working seem to be working fine so I’ve kinda ruled out a resistor/switch problem but I’m not sure were to go from there. I can be driving along with the switch on and the fan not working then all of a sudden the fan will start and run perfectly till the next time I shut it off, then it’s anybodies guess if it will work after restarting.
Any guesses or suggestions where to start looking for the problem would be appreciated as the Canadian winter begins to set in.
Thanks!
Ok just a little follow up to the original problem.
Seems in a bundle of about a million wires located under the battery box there is a broken wire. The rest of the harness appears to be ok so 1 wire spliced and replaced, problem solved.
