Seat belts installed

I worked at putting seats into the F1 yesterday.

Took me a while, working alone presents its challenges when tightening bolts and placing hardware.

I only installed passenger and drive belts, based on the narrow width of the cab. It's nice to have the added security, in case of an accident.

I did mine also, on the F1, and 2x on the difficulty of doing it solo. But it sure was worth it for the peace of mind, especially when escorting precious cargo....

I put seat belts in both of my Bonus Built trucks even though New Hampshire does not require them. Makes me feel a bit safer...

Tom, what belts did you use? I installed lap belts but would like to upgrade to shoulder/lap belt setup.

Did a lot of research before hand and went with a Florida company, Wesco Performance. They are resonabley priced but by the time I paid duty and shipping they ran me $ 325.00 Cdn.

They seem to be well made, and look good in the truck.

Tom,
Looks good.

What did you use as anchor for the shoulder point? Did you weld in an attachment point to the inner brace?

Yeah Bobby, I had two 3/16" steel plates braked at 1" intervals to match the cab contour, drilled out and threaded then welded them in behind the inner brace.

Truck is currently up on stands waiting for a fuel tank rollover vent, then back on the road.
