Piston looks like it may be damaged.

Is this in reference to your cylinder#8 being dead?

Can you get a better look at a different angle?

i got a good look at a few angles nothing super detailed tho. I have a cheap 130 dollars camera. So no 4K HD picture.

Its not liquid standing there. I pushed the end of my camera into it and pulled out and it was dry.

And yes yes this is my dead number 8 cylinder

I'd anticipate this sort of thing.. This piston made 60psi or so dry, 90psi oiled. Misfired at idle. Detonation broke the top ring I suspect. That's what 0.120" squish will get you..

yea mine makes zero psi dry and not much wet. It's so funny this motor runs so nice and smooth at a idle no noise. Just super bad crankcase pressure. And while driving it looks like the motor is on fire from all the smoke blowing out the valve covers lol....

yea ive got a used motor with good comp across the board that I'm gonna be picking up next weekend.... but I'm going to tear this motor down and see how bad the damage is when I get my beater back on the road
