2001 f150 plow mount Please help
Hi I have a older western plow. It came off of a Chevy. I don't know what kind. I want to put it on my 2001 f150 super crew 4x4. It has a factory tow package. I am a pretty good welder so I can build my own brackets. But I don't know exactly on the frame where they should be mounted. So what I am asking is does anyone have any pics of mounts that you have made for this plow. I would like to keep the factory bumper on the truck. I would like to put the plow mount in front of the bumper. If that Is possible. So If anyone has any pictures, blueprints, diagrams Or any other kind of useful information. I would appreciate It.

The frame is what the tow hooks are bolted to. There is nothing more solid than the frame on any truck that I am aware of.
If you need more than that, I would guess you either need a bigger truck/tractor or a smaller plow.
That F150 SuperCrew front end is not rated for much work. If you put too big a plow on it you can max out the weight rating before you even push any material.
