Stumped by an engine noise. Have gone through the engine I know the top half from pistons up to rocker and down to lifter is absolutely perfect. Each and everyone checked out. Since the noise is more a tap/whack I did not expect anything out of the ordinary below and removing the pan confirmed that. Meanwhile the engine, itself, runs fine with no codes and the live data stream normal. New timing set 15,000 miles before this occurred after an oil change and changing bank 1-3 valve cover seal.
