Traded my Cummins for a Powerstroke
I'm going to be honest so you guys be gentle. I have a small fleet of vehicles, 8 to be exact. We have only one F650 and it has a Cummins in it. We had a 6.0 for about a year and I traded it for a Duramax last fall. My personal truck has always been a Ram. I've had an 03, 08, and a 14. As much as I love my Cummins the damn perform service/service fuel system/service def messages have been on since I got it. I'll take it in, they will fix it and a month later another one comes on. I lifted it with a BDS 3" and put it on 20" XD Monsters and 35's and the ride quality has progressively went to **** over the last 2 years. So I decided to go test drive trucks. First the Denali HD, then a Tundra just for kicks and wasn't really impressed by either. Then the wife says "why not a ford?". I almost kicked her out of the truck right then.
Here we are a week later and my Platinum should be to me on Wednesday. I love the look and mainly the luxury of the Platinum. I would have stuck with my ram if the highest trim line was a lariat. Lucky for me I have never bashed fords I just never really liked them so I don't have to walk around making excuses to my friends. Wish me luck here in Cincinnati.
