Visteon was the OEM supplier to Ford and they stopped making the Xr50 boxes when the Indeanoplois plant closed in 2008.
Motorcraft sell a used box that has been remanufactured in Renoysa Mexico.
Red head is a small family business in Washington that also remanufactures used xr50 boxes that were originally made by Visteon.

I don't know when you bought an OEM box from visteon but they no longer build new ones.
