2000 F250 a few issues.
at moment turn key to start engine, and just a single click. 2 to 3 seconds letter a slight hum and nothing.
volt meter reads 12.8v across the battery checked at the battery
checking from inside truck...
volt meter reads 12.8v at cig lighter inside truck
volt meter reads 11.8v to 11.75v with key in "on position"
volt meter reads 10.7v to 10.8v when i turn key to start the truck.

ugly run down of history...
when bought, saler noted replacing speed sensor due to dash odmeter went out, replaced sensor and all was ok.
couple weeks after purchasing, engine soon light came back on. checked with BAFX ODBII scanner. p0501 and 500 error speed sensor came back.
crawled under rear end of truck, and the sensor to differential looked like it got snagged on some weeds or something and wire was torn off, and person before me spliced in new wire and put in a new sensor. looking further at differentail the O-ring around the sensor was shoot and leaking diff oil. i put 1 liter of diff oil in, and tossed a new 0-ring around sensor. oil was not coming out of the sensor hole. and all i had one me was 1 liter of diff oil.
cleared the engine codes. to above
crawling abit more under truck. oil leaking down around starter on passenger side, looks like it might be coming up higher some place on motor. but hard to tell not enough time to really look. the bottom of transmission case is oilly for sure. as oil drops down from the starter down to the transmission front.
3 days ago. engine service light came back on and came up as p0500 code.
couple days ago, had in 4x4 high going through mud trail/driveway on farm less than couple MPH, and heard a "clank" and for a moment lost power to wheels, and odemeter went out.... 3 seconds or so latter everything came back and got back to house.
today went to start truck to get it pulled to shed to take closer inspection. and now truck will not start.
truck since bought used, only put maybe 40 miles on it if that. most of was driving it home.
all fluids look good. not really able to check transmission oil level. without being on, but has oil in it a bit above max fill mark.
1st key, have hard time turning. jiggle the steering wheel, and shifter lever, while turning. and eventually key turned.
2nd key, turns just fine.
going back out to double check myself for loose wires. and see if i miss anything with flashlight in hand.
figured why not. put key in, and truck starts right on up! *arghs*
noticed once started there is a *hum* from behind the passenger side glove box. like a fan maybe. but more of a electromagnet hum.
also just noticed radio face was going in /out like a loose connection some place that is powering the face of the flip down front on it. radio kept playing just no display.
=============
down to speed sensor p0500 rear differential. to another sensor some place on transmission i have yet to track down.
key/lock cylinder / switch
oil leak some place on passenger side on top of engine. not enough light from flashlight to tell if head gasket, or if something else is leaking. noticeable black gunk/oil mess on that side of engine on top.
