Jim, that is a placeholder, nothing in ETIS before the truck is built is anything more than a placeholder of data that they can extrapolate from your VIN.
Jim, it looks like our trucks might head down the line around the same time. My order was put in on 5-5 and I got my VIN yesterday by looking up the order number in COTUS. Still nothing in ETIS yet. Mine is Ultimate Lariat 6.2 as well. Good luck as I know how hard the wait is....

Reason: Misspelled word
When COTUS came back online this morning some new info populated. Not sure if everyone got this or new. I highlighted the new items. Looks like July and hopefully some great rebates for the holiday!
That's great news. I just checked mine again for the first time today and nothing new. Looks like they're back up to about the 10 week lead time. I don't know about you but every little change or update that happens I start getting more excited. Mine actually showed up in ETIS today with a placeholder build date. Congrats ...
I checked mine this morning and I got an ETA of 7-2. Supposed to leave on 7-1 to take the family to Colorado for a week on vacation. Sure hope it gets here a couple of days before then. Oh well, we'll see.
Well mine arrived at the dealership yesterday. I went to see it this morning and couldn't find it anywhere. Went back tonight and it was parked out front, they had taken it to have the box liner sprayed.
I ordered my brochure mid May and my truck was delivered to the dealer 5/31, I never did get my brochure, but my dealer was able to see it in their system and we were able to apply the $750 no problem.
Got window sticker but have a question. My build sheet shows Trailer Towing Package. I do not see that on the window sticker. Will try attaching both.
My WS yayyy Build sheet
Not sure what it was I looked at your pics and liked it. But it's a "tough" color to figure out as it clearly changes color depending on the light (all colors do but this one is different).
I probably have seen it on Ford vehicles driving around but who pays attention when you're not (at the time) thinking about what color?
I've been on searches and have found some good pics showing the colors that represent Bronze Fire. Here's a good one (and the Super Duty in it is pretty radical!): 2015 FULLY BUILT F350 PLATINUM - PowerStrokeArmy
I've been defaulting to Magnetic because:
* I really like Ruby Red but not that much of it (these are big trucks!) - it's beautiful on a Mustang
* I don't want black (been there done that - never again)
* I don't want white - we've got 3 white vehicles now and white pickups look like service vehicles
* Not a fan of Caribou or the light silver or Blue Jeans - I like blue but BJ is not for me - there was a blue Ford used (uses?) on the F150 that I liked but that's not available).
So, Magnetic was the only color I liked. But I hadn't seen Bronze Fire.
Looks like we have a winner - gonna be Bronze Fire. Phew!
