Blowing oil out my exhaust
Any ideas 💡 my truck is a 2000 7.3 doesn't smoke on start up but once it gets to temperature it does. I'm not going through any antifreeze, just oil and it's coming out the exhaust. The truck still runs great starts right up every morning without being plugged in. Any opinions?

Might be different with diesel than a gasser (though the principle is the same), but the first thing I would look at is either the piston rings or head gasket. Oil is thick when it's cold, so it won't be as prone to squeezing through the tight space of a damaged ring or little hole in the head gasket. Once it warms up, it will flow a bit more freely. Might be worth a compression check and/or poking your nose down the oil fill to check for exhaust gasses.
