I mean with so many recalls over the years can you still take advantage of them at the dealer and make them honor them or is there a time deadline to take advantage of the recall?
Im sure the answer is im s_rewed but im curious.
are there any recalls that i can take advantage of and get my machine to the dealer.
thx, M - "I want to have my bronco put on a ferry when I die so that I can have a viking funeral."
On my 89, there was a recall where the driver side seat was not secure enough to the base. I didn't realize it until 2 years ago when I took it in for another estimate. When I picked it up, they told me that they took care of it. It was 10 years old then and they honored the recall.
I think they would honor it because they are FORD and don't want any negative publicity etc...
Right after I bought mine I was in a Ford Dealership just looking for parts prices and they ran a check for me to make sure that all recalls had been done! I think they actually have to do most of the recalls, as they are usually major safety issues.
