F350 speedometer

2001 f350, 7.3, 4x4. Speedometer doesn't work correctly. Replaced sensor on third member. What else could it be?

It was showing 20 at takeoff, show 75 but only rn 55. Even. Show speed in reverse. I changed the speedometer cluster and that was the problem. $40 dollars at local salvage yard.

These trucks always show faster with stock 265 tires. The easy fix is to switch to 285/75r16 tires, if running 16 inch rims obviously , to get the correct speed reading.

Thanks, I'll give that a try, it's time for new tires anyway.
