I have a 2016 250 crew cab standard bed diesel. UPS just delivered my Firestone #2597 air bags. I wont be able to tackle the job for a few days...but...Looking at the parts/instructions, then looking on the left side of truck, I see a line of some kind running along the outside of the frame rail, then crossing over to a bracket on the axle. My question: The line looks very close to where the bag will mount. Anybody put these air bags on a 2016? And was there an issue with the line? It doesn't say anything in the instructions about having to relocating any lines.

 

I just put the firestone airbags on my 2016 in February. That line is in the way somewhat, I just bent that bracket slightly that attaches it to the frame. It is close to the bag but I have not had any issue. Hope this helps.

 

I did the same as Cwsocks. That was nearly 5 years ago when the truck was new and I haven't had any problems.
