Ignition switch

Just parked my truck, got back in a few minutes later and key will not turn. Steering wheel is free. Been driving this truck for over 300,000 miles, what has finally quit working? Thanks

Ignition switch

Got it working. Sprayed a little lithium grease in the switch and it turned loose. Sometimes it's much simpler than we expect!! Thanks

Thanks for the update.

I routinely lube my door (and tailgate) locks but hadn't considered the ignition since I turn it every day.

Graphite is recommended for keyholes, locks, ignitions, household doors, etc. Graphite will not attract or hold on to dirt, grease will collect every piece of dust that it comes in contact with and eventually cause problems.
