Constant screen issues, now issues with front seats
Have a 2016 f150 KR with less than 15k miles.
Had the screen replaced around 13k miles because it would freeze, sometimes minutes at a time. Colorful lines would appear occasionally when shifting from reverse to drive, navigation would not work, Bluetooth would not work and sometimes the reverse camera would still be on miles down the road. After the screen wa me replaced the front passenger seat lost all ability to massage or adjust the lumbar both from the screen and from the seat. Screen started showing colorful lines again almost immediately too. Took it back and they performed a master reset on the sync system and said I " had too many synced devices," I only had three. Dealership completely disregarded the seat issue, but after the reset the driver seat is now in the same boat. No lumbar or massage control.
Any ideas on the underlying cause of these issues?
When weird things happen, get some video or photo evidence for the dealership. It does help. Since your screen was replaced while on warranty it may be covered against the same defect after the original warranty expires. You should ask you dealership about it.
If the seats don't work, it should be easy for the dealership to duplicate the problem.
