Rodney, when I originally booked, she said you were in site 76.
When I called to verify my reservation after you expressed your concerns that they may not exist, it took several calls to finally get something other than a busy signal, but still accomplished it within 20 minutes of beginning to try to reach them.

Been planning my summer out the last few weeks. Looks like I'll be arriving the same day as everyone else on the 24th, but will have to bug out on the 28th to head to Wisconsin for some family events as part of the 4th.

Maryann just took the time off for this trip last night. So far with all we have going on, it's the only one we have planned this year...

 

You guys are falling behind.

 

Too much uncertainty this year to plan much Doug. If we are in the middle of selling, moving, and building, it's going to be impossible to focus on anything else. It's a bit overwhelming actually...

 

I am sure you guys will have a great time!

We are going to stick close to home this year. We are looking at next year though, I believe out west somewhere? We haven't been that way yet so it will be a nice change.

 

I know. I was just giving you a hard time! At least the delays in vacation planning are mostly for good reasons.

 

I'm still disappointed I'm not getting excited or planning for this...................The lead up to Maine last year really gave me something to look forward to, and the trip didn't disappoint! One day.

 

OK, just did a bit more booking for our trip. I am going to bring our rig to XLR for it's annual BS cleanup the week before while on the way to Mammoth. Then the girls will fly into Louisville on the 23rd. I'll stay at the local KOA from 22-24th and pick them up at the airport. Then down to Mammoth on the 24th...

 

Progress!

Time for me to start doing some trip planning as well. Soon enough, it will be time to begin prep on the RV. The weather turned to complete and constant crap before I could complete exterior caulking and polishing the gelcoat a couple of months ago. At least the roof is good to go with a fresh coating (4 coats actually) of rubberized white paint, and new self leveling sealant everywhere. I have a few more interior items to finish as well, that won't amount to much.

 

I'd volunteer to be "Sugar".

 

We'll be pre-gaming with Rodney and family at the KOA from the 22nd-24th too.
