Would anyone like to measure the width of their front middle seat in their 2011+ F2/350? I'd appreciate it! I'm trying to decide between that or a 2015+ F150. The hip room measurements say the f2/350 has 5" more hip room, but the actual truck widths are the same as the F150. (80"). Thanks! Need to have room for one of my boys.

I have a 2015 F350 CC with front bench seat.
Here's what I measured:
Width of front seat total 57" from drivers to passenger end. About 61" from door handle to door handle.
Center seat is 14 1/4" wide and 15 1/2" from inside driver seat to inside pax seat. There's that little gap between. For reference the center fold down armrest is 14 1/2" wide.

Yep overall with is 80" and 62.5" hip room for each.
That's the weird thing though. The tech specs say the 2015+ F150s have 62.5" of hip room. But the 2011-2016 F250s have 67.5". Are the doors thicker in the F150?
Have you gone to a dealer and sat in both models to see for yourself yet?
I haven't had time yet
I test drove a 2016 F150 two weekends ago with the whole family in it (me, wife, and 4 boys) and it seemed quite roomy. I did not, however, measure it. But it seemed roomy enough, even when the boys grow. Shoot, they had more room in the back than they do in our current Excursion or mini van.
I have yet to find a F250 near me to test drive. At least not in the years I'm looking for.
