Question about 94 7.5

hi folks I just bought a 1994 F-250 4x4 longbed. It has a 5 speed manual trans and dual tanks. My question is, how big are the tanks and what kind of range can I expect? I got it from my work as a trade and it has been babied. The miles are high (227k) but you'd never guess with the way it drove and how clean the emissions test came out the other day. If anyone can give me as much info on this platform, it would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

If you have an owner's manual, it'll tell you in there.

Question about 94 7.5

I was wondering if I got a good deal. I bought a 1994 F-250 XLT longbed 4x4. 460 with a 5spd manual. Condition is awesome for the miles (227k) Original paint shines like crazy, interior is a 8.5 on a scale of 1-10 everything works and I got it for the cheap sum of 1800 (plus new rear brake shoes and a new cat) Good?

Question about 94 7.5

Sounds pretty good to me. The mileage is high. I paid $4700 for a 90 with 108k on it last year. The only thing that would concern me is the mileage. 460's are good for 225-250k as a general rule of thumb, but then again, it may have had some engine work done to it.

Question about 94 7.5

I think you got a good deal, I paid 2200 for my 93 just like yours. Mine has 206,000 miles on it now and uses no oil, runs clean. I got mine out of texas so the interior is pretty well beat. I dont think I will ever buy a truck off of ebay again sight unseen. I put a new timing chain and gears in it and mine runs 2x better than before.

Question about 94 7.5

Oh yeah, I get about 11.5-12.5 MPG no matter what I do. I did manage to get 14mpg on a 750 mile trip that was 80% highway. Heck my 300-6 never got that! Why get a small engine when they both use the same amount of fuel? BIG BLOCK FOR LIFE!
