Well just lost the oil pressure gauge so that's a bit concerning - does it read from the sensor on top left of HPOP?

also what would generally be mounted here on the inlet 2 bolt post

Does the ground out the wire for that sensor thing work for the oil pressure one as well - ground out it goes to high if the gauge/wire is good?

well I took it off cleaned it, reinstalled and still no reading - I'll pick up another sensor at Napa tomorrow and see what happens

Ok so I was wrong on the wire hahaha. Mine was just a burnt off wire with no connector when I found it so I figured this one was either the fuel bowl heater or the filter sensor. Turns out it's the filter sensor. Thanks for correcting my misinformation fellas

Don't do Napa. Motorcraft only on sensors. $20 from the dealer and it will actually work.

Got it - to FoMoCo tomorrow then. Hopefully that fixes it as I'm assuming with no oil pressure this thing ain't gonna run

Oh yeah, it would have quit running a long time ago. You try squeezing the clamp onto the post? My last OBS had the same issue, but it was a bad sensor the previous owner put on there. FOMOCO sensor fixed it right.

Those two bolt holes are for a support that runs up from the valve cover bolts. It appears your support is gone.
