What's yer payload
#16
The basic strategy to get highest SRW maximum payload is to start with a base model F350 + 6.2 + 4x4 + 18" A/T tires. See the attached file for some examples based on cab- and bed-length variables. Adding options (including higher trim levels) invariably reduces the max. payloads specs.

Here's the windows sticker. We're completing the purchase and loading up our camper for the first time on Friday. The first weekend of May we'll have both the camper and trailer loaded up and I'll take some pics.

That is really nice, I love the low key color scheme.
It looks like you have lots of clearance between the camper and the cab too - is the camper resting directly on the bed or do you have it shimmed up?
Also the rig looks to be level, if anything the rear is a bit high even with the weight of the camper.
I am printing out this photo because it is the closest I have seen to the type of rig I would like to have. Do you have specs or a link for the camper?

I do believe it still sits a bit higher in the rear, but haven't measured any of that yet. As we were just taking delivery we didn't have the fresh water tank full or all of our stuff yet. The rear was just sitting down onto the lower overload springs and just made enough contact with the upper overloads during cornering to rub the dirt off. The combination of the rear sway bar and upper overloads kept if very stable in the corners.
The camper is a CampLite 8.6 with a claimed dry weight of under 2500 lbs (according to the sticker on the side). On their website they list just over 2500 lbs, but I've read they weigh each camper before affixing the label so that it's correct for that particular unit.
