My 1952 F2 has a spur gear 4 speed. Everything else on the truck appears to be original equipment so I guess the tranny is too.

The 4 speed heavy duty spur transmission was an option in 52 that the CG stepped up and paid extra for. They didn't spring for a radio or turn signals, however. I believe a synchro 3 speed on the column was standard in 52 with a 3 speed heavy duty on the floor available as another option.
