I have no proof to back up the statement I heard, but I've been told before on the larger trucks they often used an old body that was left over. Someone tried to sell me a '56 F600... that had a 55 body on it. It was legally a '56.
i heard the same thing but can't find any example of it going into 57.
I thought they were red, but I'll let someone else chime in that knows for sure.

Thats the picture I was hoping to see. and just looking at the pic of the 239 and 256 mine does look like a 256.
My idea for this truck is to eventually find a bed for this thing and have it looking kind of like Stephen's f600. Thats a nice looking truck!
