I see part numbers on the face of it go to this site here and plug the part number into the search box in the upper right of their web page. 1999 Ford F-250 Super Duty
Great it's the baro sensor. The e99 had a stand alone sensor, where as the newer has the sensor built into the pcm. I'm in the process of swapping dash wire harness with a 2000 which doesn't have that plug? Will I now need a 2000 pcm to function?
Or you can simply just wire the Baro sensor into the 2000 harness. It's simple to do. I did it on my 2000 and 2002 pickups so that I can use an E99 PCM in them.

Simply splice into the 5 volt reference and Signal return line (ground) and then use the normal sensor wire that you already have in the under hood portion of the wiring harness that goes to the PCM. At this point, it would just be easier to locate the barometric pressure sensor under the hood.
So I got the new dash harness and all seems to work but the gauges, dummies lights work but no temp, gas, battery, rpm, etc... this harness was from an auto and mines a standard transmission
So does the cluster gauges get their signal from the pcm or the gem module?
