I have a 2017 F-250 with sync 3 in it and navigation. I have trouble hearing the navigation over the radio playing. i have searched for it and looked at all
the options to try and turn up the voice on the navigation, Am I missing some thing?
Thanks so much for any help
You can do the same for a phone call. While on the call, and the voice is coming over your speakers, turn the volume up or down (you can use the steering wheel or volume ****, doesn't matter).
As has been said, do the same while the Navi voice is speaking...
Yes as others have stated. The volume rotary **** works the volume for everything. If you are trying to turn up or down the navigation, rotate the **** while the navigation is giving promps.
Glad someone figured it out. It has been very frustrating. Now I see a race coming on to get to the volume before the nav stops talking.
Does adjusting the telephone volume also adjust the nave volume?
Time to go play some more and find the answers.
Sure would be better to have a real volume choice like a stand alone GPS does. So goes life. Right along with paying for yearly updates stand alone GPS's give you in the price.
But I sure thank you for the info. Life just got a bit less frustrating.
I stumbled onto this on accident. Just happened to hit the volume while she was talking to me.... "oh, what do you know, a different volume graphic came up on screen"
its probably in the manual. Ford techs are reading this thread, and others like it, thinking "RTFM you idiots"
(this is on my '17 Escape, but I assume Sync 3 is the same regardless)
