Carburetor install question

Changing out the original 2BBL carb, going to a Holley 2300 on my F350 motor home. Would like to see some pictures on the Throttle linkage connections.
Thanks
This is what it looks like now.

That is what I did with my 72 when I changed the intake to a S code 4 Barrel intake.
Why did Ford use that jack shaft thing?

I think it was just in case of a broken L/S motor mount. If the mount breaks the engine can lift up. As it's lifting up it pulls the carb farther away from the linkage. Which opens up the carb. The trapeze nullifies that.
I see your carb already has the ball stud on it. In that case I would use a link off a 75/76 F150/350 with a 360/390. Part number D5TZ9747B.

That is not a Holley carb.
IIRC the Holley does not come with a ball so you have to buy one so be prepared.

Hey Jeff. That rod you show in the pic. Where can I get one? I can't find the one I had anywhere in my parts. I have a Carter AFB and it has the ball studs. Also, do I need to know the size. Just from vague memory I would say mine was close to 8 in. long. That sound in the park for one of those?
