Hey guys. So I noticed the other day that my front axle is tilted forward a little bit. Would this cause any problems or will it be alright.? If it's going to cause problems, how can I fix it.? Any advice is appreciated.
i can also take a few pictures if you guys would like.
It is a 2006 F-250 4x4. These are the best pictures I have for now. I will take better ones after I get off work. And I'm not sure if the spring is bent because of the axle but it looked like it would be so I took a picture of it too. I did my best to hold my phone level when I took the picture to give you an idea of how titled it is.
Was thinking perhaps if the u bolts that bolt the leaf springs to the axle were working loose it might cause some tilt, forgetting that this has coils.
No drop brackets on the radius arms but I am hoping to buy them soon. And yes, everything drives fine and there's no rubbing as far as I can hear and see that there's no bare metal anywhere. I was only curious about the springs because I had a 6" lift before and the springs were straight.

I'm no expert on lifts or coil sprung SD'so bear with me if this makes it obvious I don't own one. This looks like a simple geometry issue. Think of the radius arm like a leg of a triangle, the spring is another leg, and the horizontal distance from rear of arm to spring is the last leg and the only constant. The spring leg grew by 7". If those arms are stock, they are both rotating the diff by change of angle and bending the springs because the "leg" is now too short to keep the spring leg at the original angle relative to horizontal. That's why drop brackets or replacement arms are in the kits.

Thats what I was thinking myself actually. I'll have to look under it tomorrow when it's light outside. I didn't put the kit on myself so I don't know if the radius arms have the drop brackets on them. I wasn't aware they came with the kit, but I just looked and the kit I bought did have them. So to contradict what I've been saying, the truck should have them on. I'll just have to check for myself to make sure.
