Glow plug bypass with GPCM?

Glow plug bypass with GPCM?
I've read what little information I can find about making a glow plug bypass, but everything so far applies to trucks with glow plug relays. Since mine is an Excursion I have a GPCM instead of a relay.
Does anyone have any information how I might accomplish this?

What is a glowplug bypass? If you want to prevent them from energizing pulling the plugs should do it. Will set a code but I think it's the kind of code that will clear itself after putting it back together.

I'd rather not unplug anything... I'd like to have a 3-way switch in the cab where I could retain the PCM control, force them off, and force them on.
Forcing them on isn't as useful as the other two settings, but it might be nice to have.
Why would I want to do this? Well, for example, it would have come in handy yesterday. I needed to turn the key to 'run' so I could test the turn signals, needlessly energizing the glow plugs and draining my batteries.
