Freakin junk crap!!!! IMHO,, you will be doing a disservice to the truck using that. But,, there's never enough time or money to do it right the first time,, but always enough time and money to do it again.
yes you can,no exh going to it just water, weld the egr valve so never opens. no thats not the kit but is the piece that blocks the exh to the egr, that little plug in the pict .
I think when some installed this they was prying on the pipe to install and bending the bellows out of orig shape and later leaking,if done without the prying bellows should be ok,it would be same as adding a full delete kit with a solid egr uppipe but anything can happen if pryed on, Im going to do a full delete later while doing other stuff but id like to stop all exh from going into the egr cooler so no chance of it ruptering and causing more probs now.
I really don't think you understand how it's actually blocked off or how it would work. But I would definitely be interested in seeing how you get it set up
They have a stainless plug that beveled on one side, has a stepup on other side that goes into the egr cooler inlet,as you tighten the v clamp it pushes the plug tighter into both the uppipie tee and the coolers inlet making a tight seal both ways, was going to remove pipe, install plug, reinstall pipe, leave bottom loose do v clamp end first, then tighten bottom, trying not to pull intake, turbo right now., Thats the plan anyway, you know how plans work tho.
