Date change on window sticker

The first day my window sticker showed up on line the date on the very bottom of the sticker was 03/30/2017. I looked at it again today and noticed that the date has changed to 04/08/2017. Does this have any significance? I would think once a sticker is produced the information would never change on it. So far Cotus has no information at all on my build.

The date at the very bottom white section is only when viewed, the date in the grey section at the bottom center cell that follows a bunch of other codes is the date it finished "In Order Processing" and entered the "In Production" stage. Your truck shoild be built 7-8 days later.

COTUS , unfortunately doesn't work for most folks as it is in BETA and not all information is entered. ... If you're sticker generated on 3/30
I would suggest that you check the Ford ETIS site around Tuesday or Wednesday for information on your build. ...It will begin to populate a couple day's after the build.
The date of manufacture will appear in the initial information.

OK about the date at the bottom of the sticker.
Here is how the date sequence went for my build. .... Sticker first generated on 2/2 next date change was 2 /10.. that date turned out to be the day of manufacture... The next date change was on 2/28 , with information from my dealer... 2/28 turned out to be the day it was loaded onto a rail car .
Was all this just a coincidence I don't know.

Pull your sticker up daily and see for yourself.

Thanks for the replies. Etis is showing 06.04.2017 so that should mean the truck was built last Thursday assuming the month doesn't come first.

No... That's just a place holder date...
I would think that your truck will be built any day now... usually 7 to 10 days after sticker is first generated.... Mabey yesterday ,mabey today ,
mabey Monday. .. Anyway ,check Ford ETIS every day for the initial build information it will
have some limited information at first then a day or so later it will fully populate.

So even though it shows "Build date: 06.04.2017" that isn't really the build date? They need to change their terminology.

Usually a week or so after that date is the actual build.

Yea I know had me confused also... Ford doesn't use the European style of dating for our builds.

Well that sucks. When my salesman checked their system early this week it was showing a build date of 04/03 so now it seems it has been bumped a week or more.

Just drawing from my experience if you're truck was actually built 4/3 ETIS would be fully populated by now... Or evan 4/6... you would be seeing either one as your actual build date.

That date he gave you usually means the week of 4/3... I had a build date of 2/6 but actual build date was 2/10

You were correct to begin with. Your truck was built on the 6th. ETIS shows my build date as 05.04.2017.

This has been a bit of a roller coaster ride. Dare I stay happy that it really has been built. Thanks for all the responses. Reading up on this site really helps make the time pass a little quicker. I really can't complain though. My salesman managed to replace a build of theirs that was already in the system with mine so I think things have proceeded a little quicker for me.
