I have a 65 ford f700 dump truck it was originally a stake bed 5 ton cut the frame shortened it added 5 yard dump tires were hard to find got rid of 12 7.50 20s on the oldwidow makers one piece rings I have abrochure that shows all the different types of split rims available mostly from firestone I ended up swlitching the rims and tires to 9.20 20 s these are taller large Tims which seamed to make it roll better the tires are hard to come by I got ,two complete sets 4 of them were made in Korea and they qpyicky burned right up on the rear I have one set left and these are bf Goodrich and don't seem to wear as fast as the Korean tires but this week another fiend of mine came across anothet 700 dump same as mine but with 10 lug axles and have hubs I'm hoping to change to 19.5 radials which I've acquired off abandoned motorhomes and your have three sets like new it has a split rear 391 industrial I'm switching to a five speed with 2 pto it has hydraic brakes with air assist so I have on board air the truck is a beast and nobody swerves in my lane as long as its not wet she climb the most treacherous hills even with trailer she is rated at 20.000 lbs but a load of gravel weighs ,23000 so I have to watch the chp I have 750000 insurance on it and my ca numbers.
