No. Not mocking. Just asking why he didn't go one step further in sort of a joking manner.
I'm just saying if you're taking the time to 4 link a truck you probably have the time/knowledge to slap a disc brake setup on it as well.
It's a budget thing. Unless we have unlimited budgets, the line needs to be drawn somewhere. This particular dually axle had just been gone through with fresh brakes and the works. The dually "kits" to convert to disc brakes are awfully expensive. So for me, the benfit of shelling out well north of 2k to essentially be able to change brake pads easier just isn't worth it. Maybe if everything else is done to the truck and this is the last thing that needs done. Maybe. By then I'd probably shell out the 3k for a 550 Dana 135 and go big.
If anyone out there knows of a smooth suspension kit for my Powerstroke, let me know! As of know, the truck rides HORRIBLE! I can be going down a smooth road, road over an ant and feel the dang thing! Don't even get me started on those classic bumpy roads...
No, but for real, someone please direct me towards a kit. Bought the truck used and the lift that's on it now was already on it, so I have no clue what it is (height or anything, I attached a pic). I'm thinking 4' maybe... It also has airbags, so I don't know if that's a main factor or what. Should I let some of the air out a bit? How much should I keep in when I'm not hauling anything?
My 95 rides very stiff. Tire pressure does help a lot with feeling road bumps. I went with 50 PSI and I doesn't feel squishy in corners but your tires, load and feel are different than mine.
Also what tires do you have? some tires are just plain stiff no matter what you do.

The tires I am running are some cheap Cooper Discover’s. 275/65/20 they can hold 80PSI. How much air should I be keeping in them do you think?
