Get the universal coolant out of your engine ASAP. I would do the chemical flush and refill with an EC-1 antifreeze, then, wait a couple of weeks, while monitoring temps, then do another distilled water flush and replace the oil cooler. It will cost a little more to do that way but you can't run with water only and antifreeze is cheaper than another oil cooler.
You didn't answer all my questions either.... do you have studs? Are you running the tuner withOUT studs? What coolant did you use when you ran out? What are you using NOW for coolant? You came on here asking for help but we need info before anyone can help you.

Im not studded. Yes, running tunes with out studs. Not sure of the emergency coolant. Just that is said for all makes and models. I was in a bind and had to take what my Friend brought me. He called me before and read the lable to me and I thought it work for the moment. Had it flushed by the dealer the following morning They also used and additive. Im assuming that they used the correct coolant.
Thank you for all the information! You DO realize that running a performance tune without studs may lift your heads that have torque to yield (STOCK FORD) bolts holding the heads down? That would result into pouring coolant into the oil system.
Just warning you of the consequences of running a tuner without having head studs.... just be careful with your right foot on the go pedal.
