manifold bolts

brought my truck to the local muffler shop yesterday. so far they have extracted 4 of the broken manifold bolts. can't wait to see how many more issues they find with fords exhaust system.

Manifold bolts have been a longstanding issue for some engines...can't recall hearing of any other exhaust issue that's anywhere near as common. Which year, engine, and mileage?

2010 f150, 90k on it now 4.6l. its had an exhaust leak for awhile now just now got around to fixing it.

I think that is the only problem you are going to find with the exhaust.

Pretty common, unfortunately.

i had 4 bolts extracted that were broken, 2 manifold gaskets, a flow master muffler, and new tip. cost came to $540 didn't think that was bad at all.
