Geez, I didn't realize what a PITA it is to get replacement wipers for our trucks. I found a part that fits the bayonet style mount directly from O'Riellys... Rainguard, engineered by Trico, is a brand of wiper blades that include a direct fit mount for the Ford bayonet. $10 for 2! Might not be what's needed for a dedicated winter driving rig or something, but it will suffice in southern Arizona.

Back like 15 years ago or more, I wanted to change the blades on my '68 Cougar. And I knew of a blade refill where you could separate just the rubber blade itself from the rest of its assembly, and right into the original entire wiper arm assembly on the Cougar - which was basically the same as a Dentside.
So that wiper blade assembly could be used on a newer car, or you could use just the blade itself on an older car.
The fifty-something guy at Autozone swore it wouldn't work, and that he didn't have any blades which would. Those blades went right in, and even locked down. I think I even went back in and showed him.
Whatever brand of wiper blades those were, they were apparently dual-purpose, and nobody at Autozone knew that.

Wiper blades and refills.
On another site I stumbled across the fact the wiper arms from a 1990 Jeep Cherokee have the same knurled end on them as our trucks. The arm is a little longer but it has the pin type mount for the blade. Easier to find blades and great for replacing the weak springs from our 40 year old trucks.

I got tired of looking for wipers, seeing them flop back and forth during use, and then watching one fly off during a storm. I got a pair of arms off a late model junk car, cut the J-hooks off, and TIG welded onto my dent's original arms. Now I can use any blade off the shelf, no wobble, and they stay put.
