Thanks Dave! I really like the audio setup. The components work really well as a system. My sub enclosure is just a little too big so the rear drivers side seat doesn't lift up all the way. If I come across an enclosure that is sized properly and the JL sub fits in I'll switch them out.
The AudioControl DM810 software is crap IMO. It's buggy and crashes when you look at it sideways. Their Quality Control folks seem to pay more attention to their hardware than their software. However the unit itself works really well. I look forward to their release of the bluetooth control module so i can control it on the phone or iPad rather than plugging in the computer.
The JL amp is a beast. It drives the Focal speakers and the JL sub really well. We have the gains turned way down on the amp and it kicks out plenty of sound. I like good clarity without it being bright or harsh and I don't like thump, thump, thump bass, so this fits the bill perfectly.
The biggest downside is it was expensive, but this truck is a long term purchase for me so I'm ok with that. I don't trade vehicles often and with this being a decked out killer Super Duty I'm hoping it will be my final truck purchase. Never say never...
