Evening, thanks again! I'll get to installing it permanently soon, I think I may have did a little too much work on the car after I got home. I'm going to take it easy for a while.
Morning guys, got my car aligned this morning, $40 bucks at the local tire store that's within a mile of my house, can't beat that! Replaced the cv axles (again!) and put new tie rods on. No more crazy vibrations when accelerating.
Glad to hear that you got it all ironed out finally.
Thanks, it's nice to be able to drive the car and press the pedal and the car not feel like it's shaking itself apart!
My driveway alignment wasn't too bad, I used some string on a pair of jackstands. Problem was that the wheel wouldn't hold still until it hit the steering wheel lock so when I aligned it myself, the wheel was way off center, that's why I ended up bringing it to the shop, just didn't have the proper setup to hold the wheel still enough.
Alignment shop got the wheel nice and straight, guy also said he only had to adjust my toe .2 degrees to make it perfect so I didn't do a bad job adjusting it!
Weather is about nice enough to do another GTG at my place. Would like to do it before we loose Kyle again, but I don't have any particular date in mind yet. Any days that are good or bad out there for folks? I can try to select a date based on everyone else's availability.
