Hello all, 74 f100 shortbed, on the inside d/s about where a shoulder belt might mount there is about a 1 1/2" round opening flanked on either side by screw holes, and a connector with 4 wires sticking out. Doesn't seem to be reinforced in any way (like I would think if it was for a belt), and the p/s of the trucks doesn't have this. So question of the day, what's it for?
Thanks as always for your help☺.
Do you have a light on the backside of your cab facing into the pickup bed?
That location you describe is likely the switch for that bed light.
Easily obtained from JY or vendors.
