Yeah mine says Special Order as well. I'm curious what the date listed right under "special order" means. Perhaps just the date the sticker was released?
Mine also specifies that it is transported by convoy. That's interesting as I assume it would be more efficient to ship from Kentucky to California by rail. Logistics are a funny business.

I was told that date is the day the truck started down the line and the date in bold below is the date the window sticker was released.
My window sticker just showed up this morning. I thought I read they were produced about a week before build date which lines up with the April 9th scheduled build date.

if what others have said on here is true, your build date is right below where it says "Special Order" which means yours was built yesterday (3/31/17)
I looked up a few window stickers from online dealer stock. The dates on the window stickers were all seven to eight days prior to the build date listed on ETIS. Therefore I think the "window sticker generated about a week prior to the actual build date" is correct.
Ordered on 2/25, dealer sent vin to me on 3/22 and sticker shows 3/28.
No luck using Cotus so I hope that the delivery date of 4/24 is on track.
Getting more excited
I was interested in your build. I am going to order a f350 6.2L crew cab long box (for 5th wheel) 3.73 axle. Am intending on going with Lariat trim and adding 11,400GVW package, 5th wheel prep, camper package, upfitter switches, extra extra HD alternator, leather buckets with console, ultimate trailer tow camera package or CHMSL, wheel well liners, navigation. There are not many 6.2L gas engines above XLT in stock. I understand I will have to order it. I do not need more towing capacity and do not want to pay the more money for diesel. I am considering ordering the Platinum trim instead of the Lariat. I know I do not want the Moonroof. I like your build. I will have to consider the price difference between the 2 trims.

I did the custom build partly because I wanted the 6.2 with the 4.30 rear. I have had several Lariat trims and I am very happy with what is offered in them. Kind of wished I didn't have to have the moonroof though, don't really use it. I was going to have the upfitter switches but I guess we missed them on the order. Not much of a big deal for me.
I read that if you want more payload out of the truck you might want to avoid the camper package, but I guess that depends on if you plan on putting one on.
I just got word that I could see mine in a couple weeks, can't wait.
I found this forum to be very helpful and full of info.

With a 5th wheel, you're very much in 4.30 gears territory. Highly recommend you order your truck with that gear set.
Didn't realize how expensive the Platinum was until I saw this sticker. Granted most everything is "standard" in the Platinum, a fairly low additional option Platinum gas version stickers for more than a well equipped diesel Lariat.
