2014 f150 5.0 Supercrew Performance
I am new to this site and new to performance possibilities.
I have a 2014 F150 Supercrew 5.0 and am interested in performance upgrades.
My slight understanding is that there are many options that do not include a supercharger. Those options will only get me an additional 40-80 HP though and that is less than I want. I hope people can help me know if that is true. If it is not, then what upgrades would I need to do to get the most power without a supercharger? Is it possible to run 87 octane and get a large amount of performance ? If not what octane would I need to run and which add ons ?
What about the option of a Rousch supercharger? My understanding is at least 91 octane in that case. Is there anything that needs to be installed with a supercharger if I went that route?

More octane means more performance potential - naturally aspirated or supercharged. If you really want more than an 80HP increase, then yes I think you are looking at a supercharger.
Ever think of an F-250 with a 6.2L or better yet a Raptor?
