Have you ever seen??
I parted out a truck awhile back and have yet to see another steering column like the one that was in that truck.. A friend of mine told me the truck was a very special order, wish i would have known that before i parted it.
It was a 77 ranger xlt 4x2, 400m a/c, cruise, full carpet kit from front to back and up the back wall, factory tool box, everything a lariat would have, but this was a xlt.
The thing that was so unique is that the column was painted to match the inside of the truck,, a light tan,, and the panel around the guages is very unique,, wood grain is like none i have ever seen.
Has anyone else seen anything like this??

I think ive got some photos around,, but i still have the column and cluster surround,,(putting it in my 78 Lariat) Had a guy that used to work at a Ford Dealer here tell me that the truck was a custom ordered truck,, came that way..
