Is there a chip that I can buy for a bone stock 00 4.6 expy to give me more hp?

There are several manufacturers, but Superchips is probably the most reputable. Head over to their website or even the FTE online store and read about them. They add something like 25 hp and 40 ft. lbs. torque.

Just put a superchip in my 2000 4.6 and it made a hell of a difference. But, you really ought to put a K&N and maybe an exhaust before sinking the 415 bucks the chip will cost you. Just a thought.

OUCH! Where did you buy your chip that it cost $415? One can buy the tuner from the online store for $300.

Actually through superchips. I've got to look at the box but I believe it was the 1712 or 1715? Did I pay too much?

It should be the 1715 model. I was hoping you'd say it was $415 Canadian.
