'02 5.4 4x2 all stock, but I hate the body roll. The truck is my wife's and never goes off road, so I am looking for anybody with a tale of how they eliminated body roll by installing suspension mods. I don't want to lower or raise it, I just want it to turn better and handle better. I guess I'm too used to my '93 Lightning
I don't mean to sound "needy", but do you happen to have a part number or model description for the shocks? What about a reputable supplier for the anti-roll bars.
I know I could spend a few hours looking all this up myself, but I was hoping I could gain from y'alls experience.
Check out Bilstein's web site. I have air ride so my shock #s were different from yours. The shocks you need to look at are Bilstein OEMs. As far as the sway bars go, Hellwig makes a decent bar, but Hotchkis offers a matched set for front & rear. I have the Hellwig, and it's pretty decent, but I'm going to order up the Hotchkis bars soon.
Hey grunpybob,,,,I just replaced my shocks with the Bilstein OEM's and it made a HUGE difference in the handling. Extremely limited body roll and I didn't change the sway bars. Try the Bilstein's first!!!
