Clutch

I'm needing a new clutch for my 5 speed swap. Looking at this one from parts geek. Comes with everything including a single mass flywheel. It's a luk brand. Is it a ok one to use? My truck is basically stock and I don't pull much of anything. Got the drive shafts out today, along with the skid plate, shifters, and floor board pan. Hoping to get off work early enough tomorrow to be able to drop the transmission.

That is a good set to use. I used this when my dmf decided to take a dump and destroy my zf5. It's held up fine for 5,000 miles so far.

If you're gonna do anything with the hydraulics, best to replace the whole thing. Complete pre-built pre-bled master/line/slave kit is waaay easier to install, no bleeding, and about the same cost as separate parts.

I think I got my slave and master cylinder for 80-85 complete. No bleeding, hardest part was installing the clutch safety switch.

RockAuto has that kit for slightly cheaper, but I don't think they're offering free shipping.

Yeah this is what I was talking about. A Luk one is $95 off Rockauto!

I replaced mine with a Luk along with the prebled slave and master assy. Smooth clutch and the pedal is like butter now. Much more enjoyable to drive.
